What is Faerals?
Faerals is an ecological monster-collector JRPG. Players bond with creatures called Faerals, explore a living world driven by a dynamic ecosystem simulation, and work to restore ancient Sanctuaries that maintain the balance of the world's Living Lines.
The game is not a Pokémon clone. The core differentiator is that the world is genuinely alive: populations migrate, species go extinct, climate shifts, and the player's actions have lasting consequences on the ecosystem.
Core pillars
| Pillar | Description |
|---|---|
| Living world | Ecosystem simulation runs constantly. Populations, migrations, extinctions are real. |
| Understand | Players observe, study, and document — knowledge is progression. |
| Influence | Player actions have real ecological consequences. |
| Preserve | The world is fragile. Saving species and restoring Sanctuaries matters. |
| Community | Ecological events unfold across all players. Discoveries are shared. |
